Won't turn over.
I recently brought a '67 Patrol which ran like a top. I let it sit 2 weeks before I could tow it home and now it won't turnover unless you spray starter fluid in the carb and it then stalls out. Any suggestions ?

Won't turn over.
I had the same problem with my 69, It ran great when I parked it then the next time I went to start it the engine just turned over but did'nt start. It would only run on starter fluid like your's so I knew it was a fuel problem. I checked the fuel level, fuel strainer and fuel pump and all looked good. It turned out to be the needle valve in the carb. A piece of silicone got stuck in the needle valve. After cleaning it out it started right up.
