Im back with parts to sell &questions to ask

Hey my name is matt ryan and i suck on the computer. I have 3 patrols in parts and one that i drive. the one i drive and am in love with i beat the shit out of. my fenders are cut, i have a flexible custom front lift, all my swaybars have been removed and i hacked in some long travel shock mounts. it out wheels just about everything. its problems in stock form are as follows. 1. it needs more power for nasty hillclimbs. 2. it needs lockers front and rear and actually stronger axle shafts. 3. the transmission needs a lower first gear i have thirty two inch tires and thats about all i can get away with because of the patrols lack of power and gearing. i would really like to put in a ford 5.0 liter straight six and and a four speed is there any one out there who just likes wheeling the pis out of something a little unique. i would love to hear from you and talk about modifications you have done. I do have a deep respect for the patrol in its stock form, it is one tough rig i must say. i also think it is neet how some of you guys have them all cherried out in stock form, i have a poster of one in my room and i think they are a good looking machine. i have three that are in various different shape. i have many running gear pieces and some body parts. all this internet stuff is kind of weird and i dont like doing buisness unless its face to face with green dollars. if you live near reno nevada e mail me at schonauera@aol.com. ive got a bunch of parts. matt ryan

Matt, I tried replying to the email address u gave. It was sent back as undeliverable. Email me at amspeck@teleport.com. I may have some info on an engine swap and a rearend swap. I also live about 8 hours from Reno and am looking for a fuel tank and other parts and would like to know what u have. Speck Redmond Or.

I too tried to email and it spit it back... Here was the message... I was emailing a guy in Grand Junction, CO aboutPatrols and went out there to see him. He has a '69with a 5.0 in it. It is still a project, but he ismaking one great rock crawler of it! It is gonna be asweet ride! I have 5 Patrols and one has 31's on itwith the stock drivetrain except for the rear axle. It is a FJ-40 axle. I am gonna put a locker intothat. I made the swap to avoid breakage and for thelocker. It may see a Cruiser front axle too for alocker. I have considered trying a dual T-case too.
