Disc Brake Swap Kit!

After getting this kit installed on my Patrol I noticed that the shoulder on the wheel studs is mostly covered by the new brake disc. This concerns me a little and I looked for a solution. I have found and contacted a company that can make new longer wheel studs to whatever specs we need. I will be sending them one of mine to get the measurements and quote me a price depending on the number of studs ordered. They say there are about 8 weeks out on custom orders so it will be a while before we see anything.

While maybe not entirely desirable, that shouldnt be a problem. The rotor uses the stud shoulder to fit on correctly, while the wheel (or spacer) uses self centering lug nuts to keep it center, or the hub itself.

Either way, I am glad people are taking this brake kit and making improvements as they see fit. I'm glad I could provide a healthy starting point!

Yeah I'm no engineer so wasn't sure if it could be a problem or not. Definitely not knocking your design, just making sure things are as safe and reliable as possible.
