Hello folks!
Can you connect 3 wire tailghts to our 2 wire setup?
I was thinking of just placing a grounding screw in for the ground wire?

I think you are right with your idea. In fact, it does make more sense to have a wire for grounding and not rely on the body for it. Modern car are flooded with grounding wires.

I wired them in and they work except for the blinkers. I think it may just have to due with the bulb if I understand correctly so I will try a new (old) type soon!
