Mileage difficult to believe...
Canvas not original, including frame.

From Colombia. ID plate says it's a G60. Maybe someone put the 4 speed in it as a mod also? I think it may fall under different import regs if it's '79 or older, in CA it does anyway. None of mine are newer than '69.

I know where this green Patrol came from. It came from Volcan 4x4, he sells FJ's and Patrols from Colombia. Watch this video, it's the same truck. I think it was originally sold for $30k and now the current owner is asking $80k.

By the way it's a G60 with a 4-speed added.

Sorry, this question is not specific to the Patrol referenced but to what is communally known/thought of Volcons' Patrols.

I have regularly come across them as they appear to import/have imported quite a few Colombian LG60/MWBs. While outside of my budget, I understand their work to generally be Colombian frame-on restoration(ish) with some deviations and modernization but was curious as to what the Wise and True Patrolling Council here has found of their work.

I apologize if this is the wrong format, if this should be a private message or different thread- please let me know. I am not looking to spread any gossip but am interested in gathering y'alls expert perspective on them and any other options here in the US as they, in particular, appear to be active in the very limited field of US available MWB Patrols.

I really don't know much more than what you've described about Volcan. He has turned out some nice looking although not entirely original Patrols. Folks like visuals and they have all of that. When he brought them over they were asking the most I had ever seen for a Patrol, went to collectors mainly then I never heard about them again. I can't speak to the quality of the work but I never heard anything negative including on any FJs he brought in. He hasn't been active in several years, not sure what happened.
