Greetings, I need to install new seals in the transfer case and PTO shifter seal after Access Transmission in San Antonio butchered the complete transmission rebuild this summer.
Concerning the PTO shifter seal..... I typically use a metric 15 x 30 x 10 seal. However, in this case the ID fits around the shaft but the OD is perhaps 1/2 mm too small, leaving a clear OD gap. Has anyone else experienced this? It there a different seal I need? Given it location it is unlikely to leak but I hate leaks so if there is a better solution I'd sure appreciate the news.
