From the pictures, this one looks like it could be one heckuva deal! But in my opinion an onsite inspection would be needed to confirm, all that newish paint can cover a lot of issues.

Agreed. I wish they hadn't done all the bed liner over the emblems, etc.

By painting the vehicle with bed liner they have pretty much ruined the chances of selling to a collector. Anyone who might consider repainting it will pass over this one - and any others painted with bed liner - because trying to remove the bed liner to do a good paint job is an enormous pain in the butt.

I have one of those tailgates with all of the hardware and side spare tire carrier. There is a little rot on the tailgate that can be fixed. In case anyone wants one.

But it does look cool, at least I think so. That color in a matte finish is pretty nice. I understand what you are saying River.......but if it doesn't sell to a collector, hopefully it will go to someone who will use if for what Nissan meant it to be used for (like David/L60Boerne does with his). :D

But even David likes to repaint his. Not even a full restoration, the chances of just a quick and easy paint job are pretty much ruined with this. And I see it pretty often unfortunately. It essentially dooms the vehicle for life regardless how much potential it might have. Patrols tend to go through several owners.

I’ve noticed that it has no footwell vents (nothing on both fenders)

Eliminated?

Hard to tell for sure with the black interior. Probably eliminated though. It does have one of those unusual passenger doors though, with the notch in the window edge.

Good catch Leslie.

That door on the passenger side looks exactly as the one I have as a spare. No crank for the plexiglass window, only a handle that locks at top , with that recess at the arm rest.

Looking at the photos on my phone I didn't notice the full extent of the undercoating everywhere! No I understand your comments.
