You are correct! Sometimes called a dovetail. Used on early Patrols up to '65.timber wrote:Striker aligner for the door? I think....?

It’s a wonderful idea that helps with wear of the hinges and misalignment of the door. They should have kept it!RiverPatrol wrote:You are correct! Sometimes called a dovetail. Used on early Patrols up to '65.timber wrote:Striker aligner for the door? I think....?

Here you go. These images are from a 1962 Parts Catalog that I have in paper form.zed wrote:I looked at all the Parts Books on the Forum and could not find an illustration of this part, nor could I find a photo of the part installed. If anyone has a link or illustration, please share.
Thanks,

No need to scan your catalog Esteban. I have a complete '65 catalog already scanned, I just haven't uploaded it yet.Esteban wrote: As a side comment, the Patrolabilia section has a 1965 Parts Catalog, but it's incomplete unfortunately, and ends in Fig. 52, while the one that I have goes to Fig. 73 (That was the convention at that time, rather than referring to Sections)
I should scan this Catalog completely. It will be time consuming, and the proper way will be to break loose the pages.
