EBAY
For those of you who don't already know, ebay is a great great place to find just about anything, including Patrol stuff. I have seen Patrols go up for sale from everywhere from $800 to $10,000, I have seen Patrol parts books and manuals, Patrol parts such as voltage regulators and clutch slave cylindars, Patrol brochures like the ones I have posted on this site, Patrol posters, and Patrol toys. So, if you are looking for anything Patrol, check out ebay regularly, you never know what you may find. As I sit here and share "where to buy", I find it raises a question whose answer is now only driven farther away. While ebay is a great place to find Patrol stuff, ebay creates a problem for our "clubness", competition. Just as I have been outbid by fellow Patrol Club members, so too have I been guilty of ruthlessly outbidding them. How do I reconcile my own greed and drive to collect with wanting fellow Patrol owners to share in the knowledge and history of Patrols as well? When we are all out there searching and bidding and we see a competing e-mail address we recognize as that of a fellow club member, let's all try to keep in mind that we are part of a community. Alex.
