Master Brake Cylinder

Post by qslipstream »

Hi all, I am new to this forum, looking for recommendations for a replacement of master brake cylinder for a Nissan Patrol 1966- L60
I have searched the web. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

Oh boy! There have been at least a dozen in-depth discussions around brake hydraulics yielding at least 30 "solutions!"

moore_rb has done a lot of work on his -- here are a couple an example threads on the subject:

viewtopic.php?p=21802#p21802

I've done a bunch on mine... but mostly in context of a disc conversion... and I haven't even stopped yet! (get it?)

But, my most sincere advice -- DUAL master cylinder! ;-)

Hope this helps get you started

David, I thought you had tried the Protex before and it didn't work for you? Or am I misremembering?

Sorry for late response. Correct Protex did not work for me. They were very poorly made.
