I have VC 42s on all three of my Patrols. Love them. They do flood quite easily. You just need to learn how to start them with very little throttle, maybe one small tap on the peddle. Using the pull throttle is better than the peddle. All of mine will start almost immediately after months of storage...even after a winter at 9,000 ft in CO.

Lastly, if you can't find a rebuild kit, let me know. They are available from somewhere in the world most of the time.
