Did the original USA Patrol ignition coil have a waterproof screw-on connection where the primary cable (that connects the coil to the distributor cap) attached to the coil?

If so, does anyone have a picture of one?

No, the coil never had a waterproof connection.

I need to make some extra ignition keys and two places I have taken it to said they don't make keys like that at their shop. They said that it looks like an old tractor key and maybe a locksmith is best way to go. Any idea where to get key blanks for 1976 Patrol?

See if you can find a locksmith that has been around since dirt, they might still have some blanks that will work.
