Brake and Clutch pedal return bumpers?

I’ve just completed my brake and clutch master cycling upgrade and am wondering if there’s a return pad for the brake and clutch pedals?

I have the original pedal mounts with the return springs, but if connected that would make clearance between the brake pedal rod and master cylinder.
I’m thinking of removing the return springs and then thread a rod with a rubber bumper through the hole.

blubau, not sure if I understand what you mean by "return pad", but thinking you are asking if there is a rubber bumper that the brake and clutch pedals rest against when not in use. If so, that is item #20 in the parts diagram you posted, and they fit into the two holes in item #21. I took a pic of the pedal drawing from the shop manual, and marked the rubber bumper with a red line going to it:

Right now, in your picture, you have the pedal return springs hanging from the holes in item #21, but that's not where the springs fasten. Hopefully you just have those springs stuck in the holes in item #21 so you don't lose them. But just in case, the drawing posted above also shows the mounting of these springs.

That was a great reply! I hadn’t noticed the spring holes above the bracket. Also my bracket is reversed and needs to be mounted with the bumpers toward the brake pedals.
