L60Boerne, Not sure if it will help but here's a picture of the carb I received and installed. My experience with Amazon is they will take just about anything back and its easy at least here in Wichita. Drop it off at KOHLS and you don't even have to pack it.

The 67 patrol has been way more cooperative on getting it running. Put a starter on it and it runs like a champ except for the water pump leak that I suspect is the backing plate like the 69. Brakes aren't great but both driver sides lock up. I like the cable clutch way more than hydraulic!!

I have been trying to verify the fuel pump arm geometry of the 170101-50k00 to the patrol original. Best I can come up with is this overlay of photos found on the internet. I noticed that it looks like 17010-50K00 has cast in provisions for the fuel pump primer maybe.

Progressing slowly but successfully on the 1969 patrol. Mechanical fuel pump and knock off carburetor are still working.

Had a pretty good ticking noise coming from the valve cover so decided to have a look and check the valve clearance, valve number 11 had about a 0.5" gap!! push rod had a slight dog leg in it. I really lucked out and had an extra one in a valve cover with the rocker arm assembly laying in extra patrol body I have. After fixing that it sounds like a sewing machine. I'm guessing the valve probably stuck from sitting 20 years and I lucked out with the pushrod being the weak link.

Been having fun getting all the electrical working, wouldn't be possible without all the great info on this site. Wiggled the small rectangle electrical box under the dash and my gas gauge and temp gauge started working Upgraded the oil bath to the kohler air filters as well.

Have been battling the fuel tank funk, drained it, pulled the fuel sender and looked around, doesn't look to bad. Think I will try to outlast it with an extra fuel filter before the fuel pump.

To save money on fuel filters as I try to wait the funk out, im trying to modifying a farmall sediment bulb to somewhat look like the original on older patrols.

Also working on a 1967 patrol. Found out my water leak is from the weap hole in the water pump. Thought I would try disassembling and rebuilding it myself and really screwed up and damaged the housing

Working on adapting a 1960's chevy I6 water pump with a chunk of aluminum. If that doesn't work out ill try a davies craig electric water pump and electric fan.
