If it doesn't fit in the others but is 60 series related, post it up.

Weatherstripping and spin-on oil filter adapter

Post by Scootermixon »

Hi All…

Does anyone have any information available regarding:

1) door weatherstripping specifically anti-rattle felts (the felts that touch the door glass on both sides as it rolls up) if anyone knows of a source for this, my patrol is a 67, it would be greatly appreciated

2) a source for or design plans for a spin-on oil filter adapter for the P engine. It seems as if some forum members have already created one of these and it’s seems silly to reinvent the wheel if it’s not necessary. Again any help here would be greatly appreciated

Regards

For the weatherstripping, I highly recommend Restoration Specialties in Winber PA. Best thing to do is download their full catalog and look thru it. You may find other things you can use too. Sounds like you are looking for what they call "Window Channel", or the "Catwhiskers". Here is the link to the page to download the full catalog: https://www.restorationspecialties.com/ ... ep_43.html
