NISSAN FUEL PUMP PART NUMBER

Post by npca-grant »

Hey Gang   We may have some good news on fuel pumps. Joe Wheeler piratwin@teleport.com told me about a part number, ie:   17010-44012   It worked for him, in that he bought one from NISSAN for about $75.00 2 years ago.   It is a part number that does not show up in my old NISSAN PARTS BOOK. The ones in my book, that I don't think are good anymore are:   17010-4401017010-4401217010-44210   So I assume that the one Joe has is a newer number. All the part numbers shows up as good/active.   http://www.nissanautoparts.com/detailli ... mit=Submit   But the old ones I have, at least the last time I check, were not available anymore. That is to say there were none in stock anywhere. Keep in mind that when you type in a number at www.nissanautoparts.com and it shows up this only means it is a good/active number in the NISSAN data base. It does not necessarily mean there is one on the shelf to buy.   So if you need a fuel pump, call Nissan Auto Parts at (405) 789-0494 and ask for Peggy. She can do a DDC check at the MASTER Depots around the nation to see if any are in the inventory.   And if that does not work, you can allways get one from AUS at:   http://motorcare.com.au/   Grant

On that note, I used the wild card option and it pulled up another part number   17010-44002   http://www.nissanautoparts.com/detailli ... mit=Submit   But, only order this if the NISSAN dealer has a return policy. In that the wild card method does not insure that this part is for a PATROL. But, it is very likly. Maybe Peggy can cross reference it in some way? If not, try it from a local dealer that will most likly charge you a restocking fee if it turns out to be the wrong type of fule pump.   Grant

WHOOPS!   Im a dweeb, the new/different NISSAN part number that Joe Wheeler gave me, that is not in my parts book is:   17010-44225   not   1710-44012 (which is in my old parts book)   I got it correct in the link, but typed it in wrong in my orginal message. Sorry about that gang!   Grant
