Patrol GR vibration - please help

Post by npca-bruno »

Dear friends,   I own a  1999 Nissan Patrol GR Td6 engine RD28ETI. The car has this problem: sometimes when I accelarate between 1500 and 2500 rpm the car vibrates a little. I think the problem might be the gasoil pump. Do you think so? Do you experience the same problem? What can I do to work it out?   Please help me.   Regards,   Bruno btsilva1@hotmail.com

BRUNO;CHECK VIBRATION DAMPER ON FRONT OF ENGINE AND MAKE SURE IT IS STRAIGHT AND TRUE.USUALLY WHEN A VIBRATION COMES IN AT ONE RPM AND DECREASES OR GOES AWAY AT ANOTHER IT IS CAUSED BY AN IMBALANCE.MOST LIKELY PLACE FOR AN IMBALANCE IS IN THE CLUTCH ASSEMBLY.ALSO CHECK CRANKSHAFT END PLAY AS WELL AS FLYWHEEL ASSEMBLY.     REGARDS,COMMANDO.
