I remember "Zed" was from Texas. Real nice guy who pops in now and again.

Well perhaps he'll chime in. Figured if someone is close there should at least be a few minutes for a beer or coffee.

I am up in Dallas, about 5.5 hours from San Antonio.

jwgreen is in Bryan/College Station, about 3.5 hours from San Antonio. He has been laying low, prehaps on assignment as a helo pilot for oil rigs.

I do not know of any other Patrol/owners in Texas (naturally excluding salvage yard operators who are not interesteing in chatting up Patrols!).

If you end up flying into DFW let me know. I'll point you to the shop where my 1969 & 1965 are stored (about 20 min from the airport).

I'm normally in DFW once a year. I think October session is there this year but not 100%. Thanks for letting me know and I'll keep you posted.
I lived north of Dallas in a small town called Bells back in '89/'90. Not far from Sherman/Denison.
