I have had this happen before quite a few times. What I end up doing is using a drift or a rod of some sort to drive the bolt out from the inside - and a very big hammer.

I used 5# hammer and nothing, might have to use some.heat. Or like said above drill out center then a punch. Figures everything was going perfect and smooth but the last two bolts....haha

Finally had some time this evening to remove the final items of the frame on the 1967 Nissan Patrol frame. Now I have to finish cleaning it, build a new cross member and decide on powder coating or painting the frame. Even found a little silver...silver sticker with good info.

Cool! The frame appears to be in very good condition. The battery box is even intact, and still has the silly rubber debris shield thingy. Keep us posted on your progress. I'm especially interested to see haw you do the cross member.

As you probably know the crossmember can be full of crude and needs attention anyways. You're going this far, might as well cut the top open, heat and straighten this out, clean and prep-paint inside. I'm no expert tho.

Simple card board patterns, some steel and a plasma cutter and it will be better then new.
