For those that can stomach it, here are two pics of how a jeep cj7 mid 80? sport bar fits in a patrol.. It's also a good indicator if you find an aftermarket cage for a jeep ect.. In the pic the bar is way t close to the driver it was just there for pics and giggles.. If I mount it it will be back as far s I can go and still hook up a jeep bikini top..see it is useful for something. FYI a fj40 stock bar will fit but it's snug..
Good morning Patrolers! My roof on the '68 is very rusted and damaged from the previous owner, it will have to be removed. I'm thinking of just going topless as it's hard to find a roof here in TX. I was thinking of installing a roll bar and having a bikini top put on. My question is this.... I've read old jeep bars will fit ( and FJ40's) but will I be able to keep the back fold down seats with these roll bars? And if so, where can I find a used Jeep roll bar?
