Cleaned glove compartment out.........hmmmmm

Post by ShowMePatrol »

Ok, cleaned the glove compartment out and found the following stuff/parts. Other than the obvious (Broken rad cap), is some of the stuff Patrol related?

Two gray heater doors, football shaped exauhst gasket, ....I'll take a stab at the top shot lower right is maybe a seat release latch and the broken handle. Spring could be from the horn button but should be brassish color. The rod with bracket could be a side mirror.....guessing.
Should have shown these on "Name that Part" :!:

The triangular gasket goes between the intake and exhaust manifold. The heater box doors, the exhaust pipe gasket and the two pieces of the seat latch are the only other recognizable Patrol items.

The rod/plate thing is vaguely familiar...
Beyond any hope for intervention

The two black rubber "posts" and the soft gray cloth gasket half round are most of a rear main seal for the P motor block. The half round should have another half to go with it. One half fits up in the block and the other half fits into the rear main bearing block. The two rubber posts slide into cut out grooves on either side of the bearing cap and the engine block.
