wd 40 the pin...once its loose...you have to remove the door opening limiter on bottom(if you still have it)..then open the door all the way..almost to the body...and at that point..you can wiggle it back and forth..pulling up on door at hinge area...and it will come off...but..door has to be open all that way(youll see if you dont..its like an interlocking tang that prevents it from coming off from being just oepened normally) pins should stay on body half of the hinge....if its broke..just tap old pin out...its easy..i did it with mine..and the hood hinges as well... paul :)

When I bought my 69 the pins had been removed and some long bolts installed....but they are loose.  Anyone know of of replacement for those stock pins?

any good machine shop can make the they are exactly the same lenght as the hinge and the lower hinge hold pins via a crimp that way you lift up the door,s to remove and the pin stays constantbe shure to grease the heck out of them regularlyor they will get stuck in a hurry
