69,

Glad you made it over from www.patrol4x4.com

Told you there are heaps of 3 speeds laying around, however that softtop frame is worth more then a 3 speed :)

I just realized that this must be some sort of record. Here we have a user, 69usa60, who joined the forum hoping to find a transmission and expecting to have to get it from Australia. A mere 5 days later he has his transmission with a huge financial savings and didn't even have to leave his state. That is amazing! :banana-dance: :banana-wrench:

Can I be the goofy Uncle with all the fart jokes?
Pull my finger.

Very cool post 69usa60 with a great ending....actually a beginning!!! We obviously like to see action and posts/pics about it and just asking can make a big difference. I know when I lurked on other sites I was hesitant to post, especially questions, but.....as my GreatGrandmother from Texas used to say...."Sonny, if you don't ask.... it'll gitcha!" We all knew what she meant. ;)

THANK YOU!!!!! I have had a patrol since 1986. When I met my wife in 1988. It was my only transportation. When we got married I told her to NEVER!!! Ask me to choose between her and it. 25 years later I still have it........and more importantly her as well! This search, this road trip for parts was for HER patrol. She loves it! It will be with us,stock!!!! For as long as we are able to get parts. You have welcomed me to your group and made an immediate impression! THANK ALL of you and especially Jeff,if you need anything on this side of the mountains do not hesitate to call me.

so 69usa60, since you have had you Patrol for so long it is far overdue to be added to the Registry. Send me a picture of your VIN plate, the engine number and the frame number and I'll add it to the Registry for you.
