Paint match for later style air filter housings

It Seems the early (and pre) 66's had the seafoam green on the airbox - If the Patrol had a seafoam green engine, then it probably had a seafoam green airbox and seafoam green tranny/tcase with it.

late 66's and later (with the blue engine) seemed to come with either a light blue airbox, or a black airbox.

and then there are the few trucks that seemed to come from the factory with a black engine, with green tranny and T case, and these also had a black airbox.

I know we are getting down into the weeds here but here goes:

Nissan like all auto manufacturers built its cars with many parts supplied by smaller independent companies that specialize in a certain technology and supply parts to Nissan's specifications. Take window glass for instance. Or the recent problems GM had with ignition switches. All not built by the parent company but supplied.
As near as I have been able to determine the light blue color was the trademark color of the air cleaner supplier. You see it on 510s 210s Z cars etc. They were a major but not an exclusive provider to Nissan and you can see that with orange/red air cleaners on roadsters and some Z cars. I keep digging for the name of the company in Japan and had it once but lost now. I can't say what may have been 1966 and before but 67 and later through the 70s the light blue color and supplier were consistent. What I am saying is that the light blue is not a Nissan color and not connected to engine, body and interior paint colors - colors that Nissan controlled.

Also as per other posts beware of matching colors to your computer screen, never works for highly scientific reasons about the temperature of the sun, etc.
