My understanding is the use of hard launch mode will set a code in the computer that will show up when you go to the dealer and supposedly cancels your warranty.

Buzz kill. :angry-tappingfoot:

I don't think they would have it available if it would void the warranty. It's like my AMG; there is a switch to turn off the ESP (all the electronic, speed, steering, braking crap) right on the dash. The last time I used it the tire just spun and I didn't move - tires were old and a little hardened. New tires, now it just launches, and throws you back into the seat - the supercharger is instant on with the throttle.

The first two years but not true for later models. Mine is a 2012 with factory warranty extended.

The car is amazing. I've never driven anything like it and can't wait for some more wheel time.
I want to drive!
I'll be gentle,,,I promise!

my last issue of a car mag i subscribe to had a write up where Nissan offers a GTR and 370Z to the lucky few chosen to attend a clinic on driving skills. they are schooled in driving and given time on a closed course to drive the two cars and their own if they like. I asked my dealer to see about getting me an invite and he didn't even know about it. Nissan has a long ways to go on communicating with their dealers. the best part, is you pay to get there and back home, but once you are there, everything is taken care of. random pics from Nissan forums is how the attendees are chosen for the track. I guess i don't post enough on the Z web sites.

That would be fun. I hope to look at a driving course at Pocono.

Good news as the last part arrived today so she should be buttoned back up tomorrow if not this evening.

And a clip for the headlight is missing so the wait continues. Good news only because it's currently 38 and rainy with tomorrow not looking much better...my patience is pretty much depleted...
