it does make you wonder if the transfer case shop found a bunch of the old seafoam green paint and decided to use it up. 
two different pinions, early is on right
three different speedo gears, later style is on left
different shafts in t-case due to different designs
early style with the rear piece made from aluminum
smallest seal found on the Patrol!
