Can anyone tell me if it is possible to save the original decals ???? or can you get replacements.
Im also grinding of all the captured nuts between floor panels has anybody done this & if so any issues I have not
thought of ??? I figure by the time I sandblast they will be a rust creater.

They are usually too crispy to save. There have been people that talked about reproducing them. The rear Patrol decal is available sometimes, when people reproduce them. Just keep an eye out for them.

So this is hoe the chassis turned out, Im stoked with it but now gotta figure what to paint it black with cuase I dont really want that big shiny thing showing.

chassis looks amazing- chemical dipping is such a cool way to get them totally back to bare steel, inside and out. Your frame looks to be in outstanding condition.

Most of what I have read, and the body and paint guys I have talked to in person, say that the best thing to put on smooth, clean, unsanded (or non-blasted) bare steel is one coat of either etching primer, or epoxy primer; and then apply your chassis paint over that.
