Re: Biggest-longest trip you have done in your Patrol

I never kept track of total miles on various trips. I think my longest trip would be to the river and back, 235 miles each way and then took it way out into the desert exploring while there. That particular Patrol has taken me on many 4x adventures, and it always gets me back. I have put over 3500 miles on it since I rebuilt the engine. The last time I took it out was to play in the mud: http://www.60patrol.com/forum/viewtopic ... Mud#p25730 . It never misses a beat.
Trips in other Patrols consist of 150 miles on LA freeways to Marv Spector's memorial with the Ozzie pickup; 70 miles in the same truck to its new temporary home ( thanks Rob for the carb rebuild!); 60 miles to a car show in this truck. Togo has been driven to many car shows, the furthest being JCCS in long Beach, about 50 miles each way on LA freeways. It was the last trip when someone almost creamed the left front fender cutting me off that I decided Togo would be a trailer queen from now on. Limey has taken me to a couple car shows about 140 miles round trip.
I dont make a point of driving a Patrol every chance I get, but when I do find a reason to drive one, I really enjoy it.
