Yes, it was for a mirror. The previous owner towed a caravan around Australia in 1999. I have since removed that bar!RMP&O wrote:...... And what could that bar be for that is in front of the passenger side of the windshield? I would think mirror mount but the bar goes way out in front of the windshield.
