That would be great, but i wonder how we go about that? ;)

I actually found what looked like a home address for him online when I was reading up about Mike's passing. I sent a letter to his family, offering my condolences and appreciation for him taking on the 60 Patrol work prior to his death. I offered to buy any stock of 60 Patrol rubber he had made, or to put together some kind of group by of the patterns/tooling etc. so we could at least try to make future production possible. That was last week and I have not heard anything back yet. And that's if the address I found was correct/current. I'll let you all know what I found out.

I plan on going to JCCS later this month to see what I can find out. I worked with Mike on some of this, met with him to show him Patrols with original weatherstrip and sent him some samples. At one point he was going to make another trip out here to see more stuff, but the never happened.

So I went to the JCCS today with a mission: to see what I could find out about Datsunlandsocal. The mission was successful. :D I found the person that is in the process of trying to take over Mike's business. The hold up right now is Mike's widow. So, there is a good chance that someone will take over the business, just don't know when. But, I was promised that as soon as it happens that I would be notified.

That doesn't get anybody any side window weatherstrip immediately, but be patient for a few months and hopefully they will be available again.

That is great news. Thanks so much for making that effort, River.

Has anyone ever tired to use Land Rover Defender rear sliding window channel felt seals for the Patrol? I was looking at them at a couple different suppliers and the Defender window looks like a very similar design to the 60. As close as the Patrol and Defender are in other design elements, I would not be surprised if they were.
