Thanks!
The weld beads look great.

So the next question is what type of equipment are you using?

I've taken advantage of this long weekend to continue with the av patrol.my work has been preventing me a little from working on it so i took advantage of this week end to get some work done.
Ive been taking it all apart so i can get to the heart and clean it all up.
My first intentions where to just get it running and drive it for a while but the more i work on it the more complex it gets so o figure might as well just do it right.
This weekend i took all the body bolts and nuts off and separated the body from the chassis. Im so lucky to have a very supportive wife, and she even helped me to remove the body

.(also my lil one loves helping me out )
It was a good call, the tranny and transfer case were a ball of grease and dirt of 50 years.
Ive used a blow torch, spatulas and super heavy duty degreaser to clean it all up.id like to clean everything up before i can restore parts.

I love seeing the child labor! It's good for them to learn about cars at a young age!

Body still off the chassis and haven't been able to touch because of new job plus training ,but I'm sure I'll be getting back on the wagon as soon as next spring.
