Yep -- I'm near Roseville High School. I grew up in Granite Bay -- back when it was referred to as "Roseville!" My folks are still there. Out Douglas toward the lake.

Nope -- I still have all four of mine... One runs, two are restorable and one is barely more than a memory! Nearly all the body parts have found other Patrols as homes! I was that red one... Kinda odd. I couldn't figure out where it was. It said Roseville, but there was a hill in the background... Roseville is pretty flat as you know. Perhaps Loomis or Penryn but claiming Roseville?

You didnt have a red one listed in Craigslist for sell recently did you?

Im working on bringing mine back to life :-)

Question for all, when i got this one the trans was removed, i want to try to get it running but is it advised with the trans out and the clutch and disk plat still installed? I want the clean up the trans, replace the seals, and fill it with clean gear oil before i refill it.

Spent some time this weekend on the teardown with a couple of the kids :-)

All of the rust so far seems to be surface, don't see any at this point that requires any patches to be welded in.

NIZMUT - Sent you a PM on your parts.

Good luck and I admire your ability to tear that Patrol apart. There is a guy on this forum selling the whole drivetrain for $1500 out of Colorado. It seems like a good fit for your needs.
Best O luck,

Thanks!!

I actually have my entire drivetrain, the drivelines, trans and transfer case were just out when I purchased it.

Hey all - I was reviewing the compatible parts list and I don't see things like suspension parts, is there a newer list that might show items like options for leaf springs, tie rods, sway bar bushings, shackle bushings, etc.?

I don't know everything I will need yet but as I tear down and rebuild the frame and suspension I know some of those parts will be brittle and need replacing.

There aren't any compatible replacements for this items. With some research much of it can be found or made.
Beyond any hope for intervention

Spent a little time on the frame working to rid it of the surface rust in preparation for paint and rebuild.

Gauges were a little rough, the PO started tearing the Patrol apart and left parts scattered in a field for a few years which included the gauge cluster out in the rain and elements.

Tore them down and hand painted them, figured they don't HAVE to be PERFECT, they came out pretty well..
