Re: the "thanks" button........

I have never seen that elusive button! People probably wonder why I haven't thanked anyone - well, that's why, I just can't!

I'm fairly certain there used to be a "thumbs-up" thumb in the bottom corner. Notice how under our usernames it says how many times you have thanked, or how many thanks you have received?!

Wow, really? I've known it to come and go without rhyme or reason, but it usually there sometimes. I've looked into the issue before and haven't found a cause. I think it has to do with the browser one uses to access the site, and perhaps any restrictions set in the browser.

All back together now and fuel in sight glass, and no more leaks anywhere!

BUT...still no start! I think I have no spark as I have fuel and air. Since ownership I have replaced the ignition coil probably 3 times. I don't know what is causing it to go bad. The PO installed a MSD box on the inner left fender in the engine compartment and there are wires coming from the instrument gauges out to it and from it to the ignition coil.

Do I need this MSD box?

No, get rid of the MSD. It doesn't work with the standard coil and there is no need for increased spark amperage. I would certainly suspect that as the source of your coil failure.

Okay, good to know!

The coil is not factory, it is a yellow colored Accell Super Stock. I have just been replacing it with the same as that is what it came to me with. I will try a "MSD Delete" and report back. Although I feel I will need another ignition coil to complete the repair.
