I was supposed to be there, until Mother Nature decided to load my backyard up with tree limbs, and the crew showed up to build my wife's new barn... Too much going on.
Next year I will be there, hell or high water.
I like having a goal! Maybe you'll see us there in Aerogirl too!

Greetings from the the base of The Loop,
The Loop was planned simply to see for myself how they handled at extreme altitude, though they were well proven years ago. Plateaucal helped me all the way and had a much harder Patrol to control as the Rochester carb was lackluster at best. It is getting a VC 42 this winter.
Another reason for the loop is so all of you that have contributed parts and mechanical advice could see the fruits of your generosity.

It took this whole forum to get both of those Patrols back in action so please know although you were not there in person, you were there. It would not have happened without you.
Thank you all and now we have a plan for next year!
Patrolling to paradise,
L60Boerne

Okay, one more. We had a "small" toast at the top. Honestly, it mellowed me out too much. Would have rather kept that ragged edge. A little fear is good and better for you.

And please pardon the Texas plates. Texans; can't live with 'em, but you can sure have fun with them. That being said, thank you L60Boerne for an absolutely wonderful time. Still thinking about it.
