Well, Dwayne has not been able to send any photos. So, here is his number if you want to call. 970-428-4422. I did confirm that I am free to post his phone number. This Patrol is in Norwood Colorado. One of the last good places left in the State, just stay near paved roads and go well armed ;) . Truly some nice country out there, it is where we go play. Maybe someone can coach him over the phone on texting photos.

Ole' Dwayne has sent some pictures, unfortunately he seems to have missed the major dents. So consider these the best views.

The dent on the rear passenger corner is fairly significant though you can't see it will. The front passenger quarter is smashed that the corner. There is rust at the back. Overall, if you have some basic skills you should be able to clean this one up pretty well. There is rust in the rear but a little cutting and welding....you know. It has what appears to be a liner in the rear bed that appears factory, I have never seen one. The front driver floor and transmission hump still has the original vinyl liner. He says everything works, runs, drives and stops.

The engine sounds magnificent. My gut tells me this is a worthy score for someone that wants a fairly easy project. You can see the door that says is was used in Telluride by a liquor store. Dwayne says that the guy that owned it used it for deliveries in the Telluride/Ouray area. So it has seen some time on the trail between Telluride and Ouray. However, I think it is fair to say that 16,000 on the odometer is realistic. But possibly quite a few miles on the Colorado dirt roads and trials, which explains the rust. As we all know, these are tough machines so I doubt there is anything to worry about mechanically.

He has fixed the brakes and acquired a title.

SO WILL SOMEONE PLEASE BUY THIS DAMN THING BEFORE I DO!!!!!!!!!

Hummmm who lives close to seller, has skills, storage location, nearby offroad trails so it can be used as intended, a close friend with plenty of spare parts, many from the Montrose area , potential high mountain rendezvous point halfway to another Patrollees lair  while making every jeeper envious along the way  then could be used to carry out a huge elk thus saving someone from cutting the top off one of their Saab's so it could actually used for something :o so it in order for a local July 4th parade while transporting a load of wax sealed dirty water protected by that luxurious OEM?

Now, on the other hand, if you will build me a mezzanine level so I can stack one Patrol on top of another in the barn then house feed me for thirty years as my wife retains my worldly possessions (naturally she will tell the judge that obviously the Patrols are his 50%) I will gladly send him the ransom.

Patrolling again soon,

As always, a very rational analysis. I am sure it could be squeezed in along with three Saabs, a Trans Am, two trucks, a Lexus, a Subaru, a vintage Mini, a van, two trailers, three ATV's, 24' pontoon boat and my grand-daughters Fischer Price F-150. Wait! there is an vacant chicken coop!

It's getting to be a bad habit, but I am an addicted gearhead and there are three other drivers in the household. Best part is our HOA consists of three homeowners, with same bad habits. The limiting factor is staying up on the insurance and maintenance.
