During my last patrol of the 06 I noticed that Santa's Sleigh is missing it skid plate. I anyone has a skid plate they will sell me please let me know.

Skid plates were an option on the Patrols, not all of them came with them. If there are tabs on the frame to mount one then your Patrol used to have one, no tabs and you can't mount one.

Thanks, I have the tabs. If one doesn't turn up, I will have one fabricated as you suggested.

Greeting Patrollees,
Just a note to say I am planning for a three Patrol patrol on the 06 Ranch this fall. This Patrol will include wives. Likely mid September or late October, hunting seasons permitting. We plan to have the red 65, Blue 66 and 66 Punkin, before we strip it for painting this winter. We will have cook so all you have to do is show up with patrol and fuel and a few beverages of your choice.
I'll try to follow up my article Patrolling the Alpine Loop with a new article based on this patrol. I will invite anyone who wants to show up with a Patrol.
The guys whom hunted with me out there earlier this month kept saying "I know 100 guys in E TX that would pay the 06 Ranch lots of money to drive these trails". Which is true, it is an epic ranch.
So food for thought for fall.
Rolling and Patrolling,
L60Boerne

Here are some pics of David's adventures at the 06. And the hill climb video.
It would be a simple matter to have a skid plate bent. If you are ever back in the "hood" we could take some measurements, draw it up and send it over to Recla Metals in Montrose. I have had a bunch of stuff bent for me there over the years from floor pans to outboard motor mounts. Let me know, would probably take a few minutes with a tape measure and ad some grid paper and pencil. I am quite sure S.A. has such a place as well.
Once bent, match mark the holes and install.

Greeting Patrollees Worldwide,
I have committed, ranch activities permitting, to a four (4) PATROL patrol of the 06 Ranch Nov 3-6, 2022. I will open the invitation to Plateaucal, whom was instrumental in getting several of the going, and others with a Patrol to attend. I do have to clear all guests and activities through the ranch, as I am not the final say and they are very strict on who sets foot on the 06. It is the middle of nowhere but worth the effort. If interested, please send me a message ASAP. There will be other patrols in the futures so this in't a one time event other than to have four Patrols to start with.
I will write an article for the Expedition Portal as before.
Patrols on hand will be; white 63, red 65, blue 66 and multi-colored 66 Patrol P1(Punkin). I will have the interior finished but I don't think I can get it painted by then as I also replacing most of the body panels and painting my Ram 3500 Gen 1 Cummins quad cab hunting truck that just finished a complete mechanical refurb. It is a hunting/tow truck ready for anything.
