Great news!!!

I have officially gotten the first production run of the brackets ordered. They should arrive at my house in July. I have gotten the price down to $125 a set plus shipping. That is cost, I'm not adding any on top to make a profit or recoup what I have spent in R&D. I will reach out to those who have expressed interest and collect $$$ for your set soon.

If anyone else is interested just PM me and I will get back to you ASAP.

UPDATE!!!

I finally received the first production run of these brackets the other day. My work schedule has not allowed me any time to QC them just yet but I finally get a couple days off mid week so that I can look them over and test fit them to make sure all is good. Once that is done I will start collection $$$ and sending them out.

As a note I can have the required brake lines made up and sent out with the brackets if anyone would like that option. Just let me know when I collect your $$$.

QC complete, all looks great. I have sent out messages to those who said the had interest. If anyone else has interest just let me know.

I will put together a comprehensive how to guide to send out as well. I'd better get to work on that!!

Thanks Justin, I can say my front disk brakes work perfect.

However, Eddie feels my brake master cylinder is undersized, thus the spongyness. You might tell everyone what model Wilwood you installed for me and suggest one with more capacity. I really think this must be fully understood as part of this equation.

Yes I am investigating this issue and will be updating the info as soon as I get some new data.

As L60Boerne pointed out, the initial MC we installed on his Patrol was a 1"bore MC. As it turns out the 1" is a bit undersized for the large piston calipers used in this upgrade. We are in the process of switching it out with a 1 1/8" dual MC which will solve the spongeyness of the pedal and it should lock the brakes no problem. I will report back once testing is completed, hopefully in the next couple weeks.

Please count me in for a set of brackets plus lines. I have a shopping cart with all parts from Amazon. QuestionnI posed is since you note LH and RH for some. I believe that RH is correct for the 1966. Can you confirm?

If you are referring to the LH/RH for the proportioning valve then the 66' can run either (as long as it has a manual clutch not a hydraulic clutch) it just depends on which side you would prefer it to be on. 69's or any others that have the hydraulic clutch setup with a clutch master cylinder can only run a RH bracket as there is no room for it on the LH side.
