Dunno, it works fine for me without even resizing. Using the 'Upload Attachment' tab below, select 'Choose File', select 'Photo Library' from list, choose the pic you want, select 'Add the File' then select 'Place Inline' to put the pic where you want it in the post. Then hit 'Submit' for the post. Works every time for me no problem. I use an iPhone.

Not quite. Normally the iPhone pictures will exceed the size limitation of around 1280 pixels wide (impossible to determine on the iPhone). So if you get a message that the size is too big, try uploading again, but this time choose a “Medium” or “Small” size.

Example:

Because the height was exceeding the limit i had to use medium size in this case (the picture is an screenshot)

Mine doesn't always do that for whatever reason. This time it did give me the option of selecting the size, the default was ‘Actual Size’ which would be too large. I tapped the label that says ‘Actual Size’ and it presented the list you show. Other times it just uploads fine.

Then there's the orientation issue. :doh:
