Finished work early today because the sun was shining! Shot home and put the new plates on the '72 and decided I'd go for a spin.
Went for about an hours drive and man I was rockin a grin from ear to ear!
Here's the first non driveway poser shot!!
When I pulled over to take the photo I could smell burning plastic. One of the looms had worked loose and melted the conduit on the extractors. I then noticed the fuel line was a little low so found a rag under the seat and tied it up out of the way.
Then needed to go to the bank to get the $$ to give Swerve tomorrow so I ventured to the main street. Chatted to an old bloke who bought one new in '68, nearly missed the bank!
A poser shot in the street..
The drive went well. Hot and noisy but great fun. As I was coming down my street I put my foot on the brake to pull into the driveway and my foot went to the floor
The bolt that holds the pedal to the booster arm and wiggled out, nothing too major and all part of the shake down process.

Hope you can get her all sorted out in time to bring the new baby home from the hospital...
How many kids would be able to say they were driven home for the first time in a G60?

That would be a bit cruel I reckon, new Born Bub in the back of a hard arse bone shaking 60,but with the Fox Shox it probably comfy as

Very ture, I'm not sure how thrilled the Mrs would be with that plan though

I've got some time off over the next couple of weeks so plan is to get them fitted soon. I blew my new tyre budget on HP and OJ so the old BFG Muddies will have to do for now.

LOL, now I feel guilty
At least selling the 5spd helps pay for HP/OJ. Now you have the 72 on the road, would be great to take the 73 for a spin to Melb
