Thanks River, just had a play on eBay and yes you are right different sequence of combination of a few words can make all the difference to search results.
Part of my problem is that the motor has stopped and so can not be moved to put things in a beeter possible for removing the unit.
F100 doors have single metal removeable panel since their is not trim panels so access is a little limited.
No doubt I will get it out, just need to pick the right day when my patience levels are at their best!!!
Once out, I can both test the motor and more easily search for a matching motor if mine is trashed...
A friend has told me that my motor at first look, appears very similar to those used in Australian Ford Falcon cars, so I have a good lead to start with.
