Thanks River, just had a play on eBay and yes you are right different sequence of combination of a few words can make all the difference to search results.

Part of my problem is that the motor has stopped and so can not be moved to put things in a beeter possible for removing the unit.
F100 doors have single metal removeable panel since their is not trim panels so access is a little limited.

No doubt I will get it out, just need to pick the right day when my patience levels are at their best!!!
Once out, I can both test the motor and more easily search for a matching motor if mine is trashed...
A friend has told me that my motor at first look, appears very similar to those used in Australian Ford Falcon cars, so I have a good lead to start with.

Sorry folks, no progress to speak of.
Got my 3rd Covid jab and I've spent the last week in hospital.
No fun at all and my recovery is not expected to be all that fast.
So, I'll be back once I am feeling better.

It seems I dont do vaccine stuff that well.
All 3 jabs have had side effects, but this 3rd has been by far the worst.

Thanks to the folks who have sent me their best wishes.
I am still only 60% recovered now.
It's been slow and tough.
I'm just not ready to get back into my shop yet.
Then I still got to get past the Dr and the wife...

Wish me luck with those two.

Russ.

Thanks Bill, it sure knocked me around this time.
I must say over here we are being told that over 65yo need a 4th jab.
I gotta say I am feeling a little gun shy right now about having any more jabs...

Well folks, my wife tells me I'm feeling better now.

I'm feeling better as each week goes by.
I now know how those poor bastards that get poisoned the Russians feel...
