What have you done to your 60 Series Patrol this week....

If it doesn't fit in the others but is 60 series related, post it up.

Haven't been doing much G60 stuff to the 66 G60 lately, although its 100% back to Original Now, even tried to make a similar Firewall mounted mirror.

Went and visited a local G60 mate, Neil which is the fella who owns the G60 that drives the sawmill and Welder. There is an old 70's G60 coming Up for sale at a Farm Clearing Sale Auction, if it only a Couple of hundred Dollars and Reasonable condition, then I will buy it, if it goes up to much Neil will begin bidding up to $800 but if there is a bidding War for it, me and Neil are going to strike a Deal so we can own the G60 no-one else.

Also Gangrene the 1977 G60 is Officially Dead

I got the horns working, the engine cranking, the dash light working and the headlights on the Dream Garage Patrol. See my post in the 'Show us Your Patrol' category for details.

I bought the carb rebuild kit and a float. My son pulled it off yesterday, but working 10+ hrs per day 7 days a week doesn't leave time to rebuild it. Hopefully get to slow down a bit after June to get time to start working on it.
Any G60 Rochester MonoJet experts on here.
Secrets to rebuilding and tuning?
I plan take plenty of pics as I disassemble and count the number of turns to bottom out all adjustments to get me to a starting point when I reassemble the carb.

Had a Constructive weekend on the G60

I got the front guards sorted out and onto the front of the 66 Looks great, its another step Closer to Rego, I also got some work on the 72 G60,adjusted and bled the brakes, found the rear rubber brake hose was Clogged up, so removed it and cleaned it out with a piece of small thin Wire. I Also Removed and Cleaned the 2 Barrel Holley Carby on it, geese this g60 actually goes hard when she get the fuel up, Flushed the Radiator and Block, and Tightened the loose exhaust Flange bolts.

Cheers G60michael
