Finished my brakes, installed one side of new sidesteps (2 hrs, rethreading frame holes :angry-cussingblack: ). Setting up to take the top off maybe today.....except it may rain :? ! :angry-banghead:
Sewing up some vinyl shifter boots....for someone else's Patrol ....
....checking out my bikini top vinyl material for the rollbar set up. My wife made a hot tub cover with some of it, really bomber stuff. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

$200 bones....holy smokes!
Seal off those hose holes with grommets or silicone or mega black or the draft gets you. Get a fresh air hose out to the front of the grill too so engine bay fumes stay at bay.
I bought a Gates brand 3.5" x 6' (for half the cost of other suppliers) fresh air/heater hose from OE Parts HQ 314-849-8020 Jim Hefferman.
This works for 1 1/2" heater/defrost hose:

Good luck.

I loaded the green 66 back onto the trailer to take it down to the motor vehicle dept office to get it inspected so they can do the title transfer from Tx to Az.

While I'm down there I'm going to ask them about changing the model year on the title for the red one from 1962 to 1965, but if they give me too much hassle about that, then the red one might remain "debateable" in the Patrol registry forever....

I'm going to get all the paperwork sorted out FIRST, and then tear the vehicles apart, so that when they are ready to drive again, all I'll need to do is get insurance cards, and hit the road... :auto-driving:

Gave the 78 Ute a wash as Miller is coming to get it, I haven't washed it since the Simpson desert 2 years ago. Pulled some personal junk out of it, pulled the brake controller out, red arc battery controller out, swept the inside floor and also poured some fuel in :)
