Since I was last here on this project, I have ordered and received two new fenders and the floor pan sections for the front foot area from CI Troia. Today I started working on removing the old floor sections off the seat perch section.
Still making progress slowly....

I'm no metal working expert by any means but in my little experience with these floor pans from Citroa I would recommend that you put the entire body back on the frame, to include the front fenders and core support, before you modify or weld those in too well. The ones I received needed a lot of work to make fit and I did the work with the body off the frame. Then when reassembly time came some of the stuff didn't line up quite as nicely as it did before. Not a big deal as I just have to adjust a few little things to make it all work but if you take the time to get it all straight and square now then once it's all painted and ready to reassemble then there will be no issues. Anyway just my .02. I hope they work out for you.

Edit These are the adjustments I had to make. Looking at the pan as pictured, I had to trim off I think about 2-3" off the bottom left of the picture to make it fit to the firewall. Then by doing that I had to trim the outside right off and extend it so that it reached all the way out to the edge where it is supposed to. Then after placing it on the frame with the engine and trans I noticed that the area circled hits the Clutch Slave Cylinder so I now need to trim that area. Maybe yours will not need as much work as mine seeing as how you bought a more finished assembly, mine was basically just the floor pan.

Thanks. Will keep it in mind. Wasn't going to weld anything until the seat perch is all cleaned, blasted n ready to basically be installed. In taking these bodies apart, I have noticed that there is a lot of adjusting room in all the body mounting bolts hence then need to make sure everything (doors) are aligned before welding these in final location.

Just wanted to give you a little heads up on my experience. Sounds like you have a good handle on it. I wish I would have put the entire body back on mine before I had it painted to make sure the pan replacement didn't move anything.

Planning on trial fitting all components together then finish welding floor pans. Then take everything back apart and paint.

The new floors look nice. I made new floors for mine and I did what you said by doing a test fit before I started welding. However the biggest mistake I made was not also test fitting the doors and hard top at the same time.

Still making some slow progress on the vehicle.
