I also got an old jerry can and made a custom can holder:





returning to this...my original plan was to replace the OEM studs with a longer length stud, attach a high steer arm, and then a nut on each stud. what if I replaced the studs/nuts with long, Grade 8 bolts instead? Bolt all the way through the steering arm, king pin, shims, into the knuckle. Do you think that would hold better? I could also weld another support piece to the knuckle and bolt the arm through that as well?moore_rb wrote:
