If the buyer is concerned that it isn't completely original, then yes it would affect the value. I didn't think you were going for a total frame-off-like-original restoration with this. I personally think that unless the goal is to make it like it just came off the assembly line, that certain subtle upgrades are okay.

Yes trying to keep stock as possible, even going to run the lug tires.
