While to exterior is getting painted time to deal with the worn out seats. I tore them totally down to find the wood was cracked and miss shaped. After getting the rust off and priming them I found some exact matching fiber board at Lowe's and made new backs. Found an ancient Japanese seat manufacturing paper inside. Anyone care to translate. lol Now just down to does my wife sew the covers or to the upholsterer.

So while the Patrol is in the paint shop and the seats are at the upholsterer I tackled the mangled front bumper. It was so bad it was bent in at the middle and kinks around the edges. I used the press at work to flatten the middle and kept crushing the edges in my vice to get them as flat as possible. Then had to use filler for the rest. It's not perfect but a hundred times better than it was.

Finally on the home stretch. Rat Patrol is painted. They did an incredible job! :D Still a bunch more things to do before I can drive it but thats part of our crazy obsession I guess. :lol:
