Does anyone have a tire suggestion for 15" wheels. Looking for a stock look. Not many 7.00 x 15's out there. Possibly a 225 70 15?

Recently member moore_rb and myself have purchased the same brand, although in different sizes.

He bought THUNDERER RANGER A/TR LT 215/85R16. Check his at this page, towards the end
https://www.60patrol.com/forum/viewtopi ... &start=120

I bought THUNDERER RANGER A/TR LT 235/75R15. I also bought new 15" wheels, 8-spoke with 4.5" backspace, to avoid rubbing the inner lip of the fender, after doing some body work. Previously the lip was folded back for that reason.
The dimensions are typical for this size of wheel. Diameter at 29-3/8" (measured mounted on the wheel, uninstalled)

We both got them from this place:
https://www.prioritytire.com/thunderer- ... rain-tire/

Maybe I didn't answer your question...

The tires are quiet on the highway going at 60 mph.

After getting the rust off and priming them I found some exact matching fiber board at Lowe's and made new backs. Found an ancient Japanese seat manufacturing paper inside. Anyone care to translate. lol Now just down to does my wife sew the covers or to the upholsterer.
I know this was months ago but I just read this very interesting thread!

Anyway the tag on the seat says "Ikeda company
Inspection completed" :)

using 28 inch super swampers on my Patrol. I originally ordered some 7.00 X 15 from simple tire but they were way too thin with only a 5 inch tread pattern.
