You should have left the Tx reg on there, it ads at least $100 in value!!!

Dang- that would have covered the cost of re-finishing and swapping out those old steel wheels...
Took it out last night after dark for its first night time drive- got the headlight positions adjusted, tested the high beams, turn signals, and dash lights, and put about 2 miles on it puttering around the neighborhood- Happy to report it never died once, and the coil remained warm, but never HOT....

Can't say the same about the floor, however- my feet got pretty TOASTY...
The "danger" rides are losing a little more danger each time - Pretty soon I might actually muster up the courage to make a drive-thru run to the local Taco Bell...

I already HAVE another one - my red Patrol sits on jackstands, in a state of partial dissassembly, and has been taken over by spiders, bats, and who-knows what else - it looks like it came out of a Discovery Channel episode of "Life after People"
and, UGH -- that softie in Houston looks like a SERIOUS project...

What do you mean losing danger? Taco Bell is a whole new level of danger! You'd really be putting your life on the line by going there!
Obviously you are quite a risk taker!
