yes its all japanese bearings like original also.

any pictures or part numbers for the kit on ebay... others may be looking.

Note to others that this kit is listed for Patrols 1967 thru 4/1972.

(Got all excited when I saw this, wanted to order one for my early '62-sequence Patrol, thank goodness I looked closely before I hit the buy it now button! )

I don't know the differences between the pre-'67 Patrol gearbox bearings, and the post-'67 gearbox bearings without doing a close study of the parts manuals. (But I bet Esteban does )

the only difference will be the front countershaft bearing, from what I read before. I was thinking the later ones just didn't use the small inner race that comes with the bearing.

I used to have a 74 Patrol, and that was the only difference.

However, r1lark comment got me curious. I have a 1962 parts manual, and although everything looks the same, some part numbers differ, and others match exactly. Probably some were superseded and in other cases the numbering was changed. In any case, I would buy the kit without hesitating a bit. The 24 needles in the middle, are very difficult to source. Another member from New Zealand sent me a replacement for those years ago. Coyote Patrol did used a caged bearing there and is noted in the diagram referenced in the link above.

I also pulled the steering wheel to recenter it. I've had the center button off for a year, and wanted it back together. the splines were corroded together, so I cleaned and put anti seize on them.

when I installed the trans, I did it without the tcase. then installed that after. much safer. got it all together, drove it, and it stranded me by acting like it was out of gas with 1/2 tank. walked home and got a can of gas, and it drove back fine. drove it the next day and it acted up again. finally, after replacing the fuel filter, I took the line back to the tank loose and blew it and it had a restriction that blew out. weird stuff as I'd been driving it before I took it apart to work on it.
I also noticed the clutch linkage was all goofed up while doing that, so I pulled that out this morning and worked on it awhile, welding up the worn parts and tightening all that up.
