I have a thread on IH8MUD.com about replacing the FJ40 headliner which I have done several times. It's nearly the same story and the cream colored perforated headliner material is the same stuff. I hope you can get the photos back up. I'd love to see them!RiverPatrol wrote:Headliner How-to: http://www.60patrol.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=2151

Patrol rolled into Iowa last Friday. I spent the day cleaning it up a little and drove it around. Runs great! I like it. Has more power than an FJ40 of the same vintage. It's an honest truck. I feel like I got lucky. Drove it over the Nissan dealership today (Sunday) and snapped a photo.

Another great picture! Your Patrol looks tops. Congratulations.
I'm curious about the winch contraption and that big gear.

HEHEHEHE ...
Your truck looks awesome. And, since it's red, it's guaranteed to run forever...

Not sure about the 75MPH cruising speed on that chart - I think that would be after you drive off the cliff.
Same with an FJ40 - I did get her going 55 without any issue. Didn't know she had detachable windows? Anyone have a photo of the jack for a 69 Patrol. I see there's a holder for the jack behind the passenger seat but the jack in the truck is not original. There is no tool present kit so a photo of that would be good too!. There is a big bar behind and under the seats. Not sure what that is unless it's a jack handle. The winch does not appear to work but may not have power to it. Need to investigate.

Good news - found a toggle switch under the dash - the winch LIVES! - I will have to do some research on the manufacturer - It's old but powerful just like the truck!
